I love this story so much! It's so beautifully written, it breaks my heart yet warms it at the same time. I read this book in one sitting yesterday. That man irritated me so much that I had to give myself small breaks but ended up coming back to make sure Constanta GETS HIM. I almost regret reading it so fast, so I could savour it but it was undeniably captivating. When it ended I felt as if my friends had left me but was so happy when I found out about the epilogue. I created a substack just to read it and have forever. I'm happy that they finally have a life, their own lives! Despite that, their love transcends all and they're forever bonded.
I can't say enough how beautifully written it is! I've been in a reading slump for 3 years, sometimes starting books and not finishing cause I lost intrest but I devoured this in less than a day! I felt like I was apart of the trio. I admire Constanta so much and found myself silently and unknowingly praying for her strength to end that man even though I know he must come to an end. I wanted to hate Magdalena and Alexi so bad for Constantas' sake but the way she loved them , pushed me to like them and to see how blameless they were.
I could talk about this book all day. Thank you S.T. Gibson for this beautiful work, your effort is greatly appreciated! I'm off to discover your other works :))))))))))
I loved every second of this. It was an emotional rollercoaster. I was excited, then I got sad and cried, THEN IT GOT SAICY, THEN I CRIED AGAIN, THEN SAUCY AGAIN, AND THEN I CRIED AGAIN! I will reread this often. Thank you for this. It made me feel complete after finishing the book.
I finished reading A Dowry of Blood a week ago and as soon as I heard about this epilogue I went hunting. Thank you for writing this, it's absolutely lovely and I'm delighted to see these three get the (more-elaborated-on than in the novella) happy ending they deserve! This epilogue had everything: amazing emotion/warmth, humour, and an excellent dose of spice :) Delighted at your wonderful bi/non-monogamy rep too!
