AN EDUCATION IN MALICE foiled arc giveaway
The holiday season has come early, and I’m running a giveaway for two signed, foiled arcs of AN EDUCATION IN MALICE, one for a reader in the US/Canada, and one for an international reader, over on my Instagram page! All you have to do to enter is click the link to this reel, follow my account, and comment with your favorite dark academia film or book. I’m choosing the winners on December 4th.
On that note, if you aren’t already following my Instagram, you’re missing out! I've pulled away almost entirely from Twitter and am just not gelling with Threads or Bluesky, so this is where my social media home is now. I’ve recently overhauled my IG presence as well, and I’m really pleased with how creative it’s allowed me to become. I’ll see you there!
The Official AEIM Playlist Is Here
The wait is over! My 74-song AN EDUCATION IN MALICE playlist is finally available, ready to keep you company while you read the book, or while you’re living out all your gothic romantic fantasies. The playlist is a combination of dark academia tunes, moody 1960s songs, and angsty deep cuts that suit Laura, Carmilla, and De Lafontaine.
I dare say this is the best book playlist I’ve ever made, so you’re really in for a treat.

Everything I’ve Been Loving Lately
Christmas came early around here, and my fiance and I had a grand old time stringing garlands and decorating our tree. The vibes are somewhere between rustic forest night and dark Victorian parlor, and I absolutely adore the ambiance we’ve created. Next on the list is to dry out some citrus wheels to hang over the apothecary station we have in the living room, and to drape velvet ribbon from the windows! I hope you’re having a restful and joyful holiday season, and that winter continues to treat you gently as we wind deeper into the dark part of the year.
That’s all I have for you this time, dear reader. Be safe and well until we two meet again.
