Hello, dear reader! Welcome to the first of my ongoing series of craft essays for paid Apocrypha subscribers. We’re starting off with a bang and jumping right into how to write a good sex scene. Apologies for the delay on this one, deadlines on upcoming books ran away with me, but we’re back on track now!

This essay is aimed mostly towards writers who might be feeling intimidated about crossing that fade-to-black threshold into writing their first sex scene, but hopefully even open-door veterans will find something useful here. And remember, you can write really compelling, swoony romance without explicit sex if you so choose! But if you DO choose, I’m here to outfit you with all my smut tips.
